Former Philadelphia mafia underboss and hit man turned government witness Phil “Crazy Phil” Leonetti sits down with CBS This Morning to talk about his life in the mafia and murders he committed. Leonetti’s new book “Mafia Prince” details the Philadelphia mafia during the 1980’s under the rule of his uncle Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison for 10 murders but due to his cooperation only served 5 years of that sentence. Leonetti says he committed his first mob hit at age 23 and he remembered the feeling he had ” I felt cold and didn’t have any remorse”. He says that killing felt natural and he didn’t feel anything and he felt it was his job and that was it. You can hear the rest of the Leonetti interview via the video below.
