Louis DiNunzio an alleged member of the New England mafia has been sentenced to 18 months on charges of conspiring to distribute drugs. As part of the plea deal agreed to by DiNunzio he pled guilty last September to drug trafficking conspiracy.
He and a small crew had large amounts of potent weed shipped into Massachusetts from California from July 2013 to February 2014 according to prosecutors. Among these shipments was a load of a sought after strain of weed known as “Skywalker” which generated very high profits. Along with his 18-month sentence he also has to forfeit $10,000.
“Carmen (The Cheeseman) DiNunzio“
Louis is the son of Anthony DiNunzio a high ranking member of the New England mob and one time acting boss of the Cosa Nostra family. The father and son combo will now both be behind bars as Anthony is currently jailed on racketeering and extortion charges. He is also the nephew of the alleged current Patriarca crime family acting boss Carmen “The Cheeseman” DiNunzio who just made his way back to the streets after a prison stretch.
The DiNunzio’s seem deeply rooted in the New England mafia as the family tries to re-establish itself and rebuild its ranks. The Patriarca family has been a target of the feds for over a decade now and has seen its hierarchy dismantled over the last couple of years.
