Louis DiNunzio an alleged member of the New England mafia has been sentenced to 18 months on charges of conspiring to distribute drugs. As part of the plea deal agreed to by DiNunzio he pled guilty last September to drug trafficking conspiracy.
He and a small crew had large amounts of potent weed shipped into Massachusetts from California from July 2013 to February 2014 according to prosecutors. Among these shipments was a load of a sought after strain of weed known as “Skywalker” which generated very high profits. Along with his 18-month sentence he also has to forfeit $10,000.
“Carmen (The Cheeseman) DiNunzio“
Louis is the son of Anthony DiNunzio a high ranking member of the New England mob and one time acting boss of the Cosa Nostra family. The father and son combo will now both be behind bars as Anthony is currently jailed on racketeering and extortion charges. He is also the nephew of the alleged current Patriarca crime family acting boss Carmen “The Cheeseman” DiNunzio who just made his way back to the streets after a prison stretch.
The DiNunzio’s seem deeply rooted in the New England mafia as the family tries to re-establish itself and rebuild its ranks. The Patriarca family has been a target of the feds for over a decade now and has seen its hierarchy dismantled over the last couple of years.

Well seems like it won’t be long before the younger DiNunzio is back on the streets. Will be interesting to see what kind of role he plays as things progress and Carmen settles in at the top. Would imagine when Anthony comes out he steps back in as a capo at a minimum if not an admin spot depending on how things fall.
Carmen Dinunzio isn’t actually the acting boss. It’s Anthony Parillo of Providence and it looks like that’s how it’s going to stay. Carmen is still the underboss and will most likely keep that position (considering the family traditionally has the boss and underboss operate out of different cities). Matthew Guglielmetti is said to be Parillo’s consigliere, so I’m assuming when Tony Dinunzio gets out, he’ll just be given a top Capo slot. Parillo is said to be more cut out for boss than Tony Dinunzio anyway, and way more cut out than Spucky Spagnolo.
