And what about Chicago? I’m originally from there and anyone who thinks “The Outfit” just folded and went away after the Family Secrets trial is crazy.
I’m looking for my father, Raymond L. S. Patriarca. My name is Michelle I met him once when I was little. I live in Memphis TN. My email is mykylk81@gmail.com I just want to meet you I don’t remember the time when I was little I want nothing but to know who I am. I was born on November 10, 1977 my mothers name was Patricia.
What about the Soprano family? is Tony still running things over there?
Great information on this site, although missing some info about crews in Cicero and other areas. Jackie the Kid and the partnership in Detroit are the most successful family pound for pound in recent times, they mostly stay under the radar in the national media.
The bosses took over government in the 1960s, by 1990s they moved on to International Corporations with Private Entity Status, these street rats are not the big bosses you are looking for anymore.
An interesting take on it for sure.
Oh you think they just quit & went home ? They just left the street rats out to dry.
Of course not was just noting the angle you took on them infiltrating the upper levels of the fed government as interesting.
Well, they moved on after 1970s to corporations, since Jimmy Hoffa was assassinated and they already owned many “legit” businesses or had enough influence to take over, now they had labor unions in their hands too, win win win. Then they legitimized past federal crimes like – insurance, licensing, gambling, sports gambling.
I agree that the Chicago Outfit is still alive and well. Also, the Milwaukee Mafia family is still around they just are considered more of a branch of the Chicago Outfit. Keeping a low profile is their biggest goal!
you have it arse backwards there bud. they are at least a hundred times more profitable and powerful …… …as an example : The Donald represents the ‘five families’ .
