The past year has brought changes in the hierarchies of some of the major mafia families in the Unites States for one reason or another. the decavancte family is still led by Frank Guarraci he would have no intention of giving up being the boss. John Riggi did not want back in when he got out so he has not real challangers. Charles is either undrboss or consiglere and is a real power within the family some say even stronger than Frank just does not hold the rank. Joe has reitred/shelved he is no longer active within the mob.
Joe ligmabini is consiglerie but could soon resign from that post t let chick be the new consiglerie if he wants it.
kanas city according to reposts Peter is the real power within the family out there with Joe being more of a figure head. Alot of the mob guys who are out there espicllay the youger generation are family members of mobsters for insance former boss Anthony “Tony Ripe” Civella grand kids are all in the mob

Indeed there have been quite a few names tossed into that hat but not a whole lot of reports even close to noting any one has more of a i guess front runner to be in the spot. I tend to agree that one of the Santorelli’s are very likely options but wouldn’t be surprised if its Baratta either or Truscello.
I doubt very much it’s baratta , those guys from Brooklyn plotted to kill crea in the early 90s , him , lastorino , conte , and zappola r lucky to be alive never mind holding administration positions
Well in that regard i think it may be a way Crea kind of bridges the gap between factions moving clear of past by putting a guy like Baratta in a ranking position. Which is why i mentioned i wouldn’t be surprised , prob not as likely though.
To be honest , I don’t think crea needs to bridge a cap with any of those guys in Brooklyn . The Bronx faction r firmly in control , even the main capo in Brooklyn john castellucci is a crea supporter , he doesn’t need to appease guys who tried to have him killed. Would u ?
Those guys plotted to have crea killed but under casso orders. Alot of mobsters have been forgiven for things like this for instance Danny Marnio once plotted to kill Gotti with the chin was let back in and alot of colambo family mobsters who once tried to have each other killed start working with each other again they could also have alot of respect in the family or be big earners meaning he will let them back in

Squitieri is def retired from all reports but i have seen reports both ways on John Gambino some believe he has indeed retired other he still carries a lot of respect and influence and he is still “involved” not sure if he holds the consigliere rank but either way hard to be sure.

Thanks for comments and suggestions (Info) guys i appreciate it and will make needed adjustments on things when needed. Its def not an exact science but i always want to try and be as realistic and accurate as possible and not claim crazy inside info or invisible sources for any off the wall accusations etc.
Squiteri is retired but not sure about John Gambino he might still be involved

As for the Kansas City mob , they don’t really have a structured family left , they have a few made guys left . No more than 12 , peter ribaste and john sciortino r arguably the strongest left on the street . They have never had the position of consigliere there , it’s always been a boss and underboss
true they have a few crews left and they operate alot differatly also alot of the big earners are not even made guys. Still even for there size they are still eaning look at the 2010 indictments that sports book operation was generating 3.5milllion a year. The only reason they are still here is that they are surviving on a few family members of mobsters they are making up the crews and aload of guys who have got out prison. Peter crew is the strongest which is left. Tony Civella also inducted a few guys in the early 2000s which they are also surviving on. They have 12 made guys on the streets and about 20 asscotiates (active asscitates).

can you please help me with finding some information? Back in 1998, I met a guy online named Luis Montalvo who later said his name was actually Luigi Montaleone. He used to make jokes about his dad being accused of being a “mob boss” but I never took him seriously. He’s supposedly from Leominster Massachusettes. He tried telling me that if I ever left him for another guy that he would kill himself and haunt me for the rest of my life, which was an attempt at a curse or hex. Anyhow. I just want to know whether he was telling the truth or if he was lying. Is being part of the mafia something people on the east coast typically lie about? Or am I just scared over nothing? If his family is a mafia family, do I really have anything to worry over? Or is it just nonesense? I’ve never seen his family’s name on any list so that gives me some comfort but I just want to make sure it’s not simply some classified info or something but why would he hide that from me then? I want to know. What the hell did I get into when I fell for that guy online. Is Montaleone or Montalvo, which ever one is really his, is it even a real Italian name or was he lying about that too?
