Well it didn’t take them long to come after Asaro again after he beat the feds last go around. First time I have seen the Gotti grandson mentioned as to having any ties to the mafia in any way. Not sure he didn’t just get lumped in here with Asaro and folded somehow into an over all mafia indictment.

    • bellomo boss

This is pathetic on the governments part. At last trial it came out Vincent was broke as hell. Dude is not a captain anymore, probably shelved all together. This is for headlines.

      • Tommy

Completely agree. Very petty of the government, they’re embarrassed he walked on the last charge and are scraping up garbage to throw at him hoping it will stick. Should just accept defeat and let the old guy live out his remaining years.

Can’t say it’s a surprise though, any time the gov gets embarrassed you’ve gotta know full well they’re coming at you with something else soon. It will probably happen with all these guys having their cases dropped in mtl too.

          • JohnGrant213

Right these days if a made guy thinks you can make him some cash then it def isn’t hard to get that associate status. Add in the name recognition he has and I could see the possibility for sure.

          • The mafia

well just read the indictment is all coming out now looks like it was a road rage indecent vinny asaro was cut of by a random guy asaro being the nut he is recorded this guys number plate then paid gotti and Rullan to burn the guys car which they did turns out a cop drove passed and saw them but gotti was able to drive away in time but they recorded his number plate

the big news is that lovaglio has flipped capeci did call it a month ago but it is now official he has flipped I think he has worn a wire on vinny asaro. Turns out that vinny turned up at Christmas party with Genovese members which could hurt him. Also looks like it was lovagilo who got vinny asaro reinstated as capo in 2012 before he got indicted a year later. He has also just got the full 8 years for that assault case. Looks like the reason he was carrying the knife around and telling cops he was in the mafia was because people on the streets were starting to suspect he was a rat this was also after he had been shelved

          • bellomo boss

Wow. Never expected that, especially the Genovese guys. Why in the hell would anyone be around Asaro, he’s been all over the press. I also didn’t expect the Gotti connection, seems he is trying to make his name. Thanks for update!

          • The mafia

It probably wasn’t leading members of the westside. You have to remember these guys all grow up together some of them are just friends it was probably not business it was a Christmas party. Also you forgetting half the westside are just as broke and idiotic as the rest of the five family’s. That family has the smartest but it is also the biggest family meaning it has its share of clowns.

As for gotti the kid must have been despreate he is also facing charges for a robbery where he only took 2k he is fucked this the arson and the 8 years he is already serving for that pill ring. Asaro will now die in prison if convicted the idiot could not control himself was it really worth it and paying these clowns to do it has backfired

Lovarigo is the guy causing the problems will be interesting to see how much damage he causes

Vinny does also have family involved his son jerry is doing 8 years a real gangster also a capo he hates Vinny. His nephew not Valentis kid the other one is also important he drove one of the capos to that Bonanno christmas party last year

          • Clinton Fussell

He’s probably just another worthless rat who still received 8 years. No sentence reduction, no nothing. I believe the glory days of the rats are over. Guys think that they can do whatever they want and all they have to do is snitch away once they get jammed up. Those days are probably coming to an end. Hopefully they will have to man up and face the consequences now.

          • The mafia

No sure to be honest I know he had some garbage thing going on in Jeresy interesting because its connected to merlinos guy sirkin a few years back he obviously had some connection to the leadership if he was a capo and able to get Vinny asaro back in as capo he was also at the 2012 capos meeting which he got busted for with others for parole. Last few months looks like began to suspect he was a rat will be interesting I think of will be hard to hurt mancuso because its not like he was exactly visiting him in prison it was frank Sarlnero mancuso nephew (got his button couple years ago) who was communicating. But the other capos some of them could be in trouble. We will have to see going to be Interesting.

Mancuso is also not the guy with the power on the streets its cammarano who is real gangster so this will be interesting if he gets involved in this case but then again he only made it too the top recently and lovarigo has been on the outside last couple years. Would not surprise me if he was the guy telling the feds about Pallanzo and other Mancuso loyalists planning going to war with Cammarnaros guys in 2015

I want to know If he knows anything about the Anthony seccafino murder in 2009 his area he got killed on

          • Tommy

Wonder what kind of damage lovaglio can do big picture. I’d imagine asaros fate is basically sealed at this point.

Both guys are prime examples of how petty some of the things so called captains are involving themselves in.. beating a guy up in a sushi restaurant and lighting a guy’s car on fire for cutting you off. Really makes you wonder why guys even wanna get made anymore.

          • bellomo boss

Yes, behavior, missing meetings, not running a tight crew, getting arrested, getting released early, all signs.

          • The mafia

            loads of things
different things some guys talk too much they ask too many questions people don’t like that if a wiseguy is asking someone else what murders they have been in stuff like that’s when guys get nervous to be honest especially if someones been busted then they start asking question. Some guys act very nervous or go of the rails start taking a lot of drugs that can rise suspicion. Then you get guys who other wiseguys feel are a rat because they have not been indicted like Garofalo after teddy perisco jr and those guys got busted in 08 a lot of people felt he was a rat on the streets they couldent understand why he was not indicted apparently they even considered killing him the truth is he never flipped feds indicted him three years later they just wanted to build a bigger case against him. Then sometimes you have people who other guys just feel are weak maybe they complain a lot about going to prison or they are not seen as “tough guys” a lot of it is paranoia to be honest these days especially people are scared of rats and jealousy aswell alot of guys are bitter with each other but in that life the worst thing to be accused of

Lovaligo looks like it was his behaviour which caused this don’t know enough detail yet but thats what it is looking like did not help he got pulled over with a knife and tells a cop he is in the mafia and needs a knife for protection that’s crazy

Of course then you have guys like santos that Gambino rat in truccherios crew the guy who took down a lot of guys in 2011 and Bruno for the bosshart murder who were just sitting in a car with the feds and alphonse truccerhio happened to drive past lol feds had to pull him of the streets Al went out on the streets and told everyone what he saw feds heard through there rats had to pull him

          • Clinton Fussell

To be honest, the Mob is apparently not very good at discovering that someone is a rat considering how much wiseguys get burned. They’re also not very good at determining that someone is NOT a rat, considering how many times suspected rats were targeted due to paranoia.

      • The mafia

vinny asaro is a joke degenerate gambling nobody who hated his own son who was a big player more important on the streets. He is broke his own words on tape

the feds just annoyed they lost there last case. The gotti grandson is in big trouble

      • pavlevlastimirovic

Broke and old , anyone over 80 should get a pass , going after him, go after his rat cousin is shopping for a book deal with Mob Writers .

  2. bellomo boss

I doubt he’s tied to Gambinos. He’s only 23 I think. Not to mention, not very bright. Selling pills out the home of arguably the most famous gangster since Capone, and bearing his name. Sounds like a Gotti to me

    • JohnGrant213

Wouldn’t shock me if Asaro who doesn’t seem to have much action left on the Bonanno end of things hooked up with some of these kids to make a few bucks. Bad move if so as you mentioned they don’t seem to be too bright.

    • The mafia

to be honest it wouldent surprise me if he was connected with the gambinos your forgetting how many idiots are made in that family and how many associates just like this kid hang around these guys he is probably a wannabe who uses his name to get respect but it would not surprise me if he was kicking up to someone so he might “technically” be with the gambinos but he is not different to all those other wannabes who hang around made guys

    • Clinton Fussell

You fail to realize that some of the most successful crime bosses did some stupid shit when they were young. Even Vincent Gigante when he failed to kill Frank Costello after a lot of target practice.

      • Tommy

You’re a bit of a mouth piece groupie to be honest. Saw how you edited a comment to me that started with ‘oh yada yada yada’. Kids read three books and watch a documentary on YouTube and they’re experts.

Comparing the namesake of John gotti selling pills out of his house to Vincent gigante landing a head shot and Costello getting lucky is plainly dumb.

        • Clinton Fussell

Everyone here sounds like groupies, but let’s pretend I’m the only one. And I stand by my comment, Vincent Gigante was a moron who didn’t finish the job.

          • Tommy

Not really… most people here sound like people with an interest in a topic and an educated opinion on said topic, whether it be first hand knowledge or from somewhat extensive research, or a combination of both. You just sound like a groupie.

Vincent gigante lead the most powerful crime syndicate in America for over two decades. John Gottis grandson is a low level sloppy pill peddler who deserved to get pinched. Good comparison.

          • Clinton Fussell

How are my comments not well informed? Can you argue that every crime boss hasn’t fucked up at least once? I don’t think using his stupidity as proof that he couldn’t be tied to the Gambinos is an educated opinion.

          • Tommy

There’s a difference between f*****g up and being an outwardly stupid crook. Selling out of your house is an incredibly amateur move even if you’re a nobody, let alone if you’re the grandson of f*****g John gotti. He is of course connected to the gambinos in some capacity, plainly due to the fact that half his family were inducted members. Doesn’t mean he’s an associate.

          • Clinton Fussell

I agree that he’s a moron. And I also agree that Vincent Gigante didn’t remain an idiot. The point is that people can surprise you.

          • bellomo boss

Actually i never said his stupidity was proof of anything, except him being a moron. It was simply my opinion that he’s likely not formerly tied to Gambinos. Meaning, I don’t think he’s reporting to a made man. After reading fellow posters comments I amended my opinion to say “it’s possible someone might welcome the morons cash.”

My primary rebuttal would be I am highly knowledgeable about the mafia, while some here like “the mafia” certainly exceed my knowledge, I’ve studied the mafia for 20 years. I come here to discuss, speculate, and learn. If you don’t agree, that’s ok too. I will say that while I see your point, Gigante was a poor example. If john Gotti becomes the next Gigante I will certainly eat crow. I’ll keep buying those lottery tickets as well.

          • Clinton Fussell

You and The mafia are both well informed. Everyone’s opinions and insight are valuable even if some of them make me shake my head. At least people are participating.

          • bellomo boss

Well that’s the great thing about this forum, many different opinions and thoughts. I welcome yours and everyone’s. Honestly, I’ve really enjoyed how many “new” posters have joined over last few months. I love it! We are a small group that enjoys learning about the mafia. It’s ok to disagree. So thank you for contributing!

          • bellomo boss

I would say you seem well informed on most things. you are wrong about Gigante. Missing Frank did not hurt his stock, as Frank retired and did not rat. Genovese did not issue second contract, why? Because all he wanted was frank out of the picture and he succeeded. Gigante the ruled the most powerful family for almost 20 years, most of which experts said Salerno was boss. I’d hardly compare that to a kid selling pills out of a infamous house with a infamous name.

        • Clinton Fussell

And the oh yada yada yada was me responding in anger to you judging people from a moral standpoint. You sound like a law enforcement groupie so what’s the difference? Scurry away bootlicker.

      • bellomo boss

I do agree many gangsters made mistakes early on. Does this mean they won’t become successful? Not always. In this case in particular, which is only case I referenced, I stand by my comment. John Gotti (grandson) is a moron.

        • Kid

He is definitely a moron. Could see the gambinos not wanting anything to do with him but the bonannos would probably welcome him with open arms. Didn’t cicale join up with the bonannos because it was going to take him to long if ever to get made into the west side

        • The mafia

I will also be shocked if this kid ever became a chin gigante lol there is a possibily not a probability that he could one day became a made guy as he will make friends in prison who could hell him he is also in prison for a long time so he will learn experecine about the life and will come out a known stand up guy

So it would not shock me surprised yes but if 10 years from now he somehow end up as a made guy but that’s as far as I can ever seeing him go. But who knows people do change

    • IntheknowD

Well said Tommy, Clinton is a total fanboy. I tried not to be critically. But his recent comments about “loving to read about mobsters getting murdered” or the “they should shoot them in front of court and take out some cops”. Quite frankly think “fanboy” doesn’t really solidify what a dipshxt he is…..

      • Tommy

Ya I tried not to comment on some of his stupidity but when I saw the ‘oh yada yada yada’ remark and then him editing it figured fuck it lol

Most groupies I know are broads at least

      • Clinton Fussell

Oh come on we all love to see these guys get whacked get off of your moral soapbox. We crave the action anyone who tries to say that they don’t are full of shit. These are killers killing killers.

        • IntheknowD

Actually I enjoy reading about the topic of the Mafia. As far as enjoying reading about people dying or wishing they’d “kill cops”, no not at all. These articles are actual news not fiction, nothing cool about someone losing their life, kids losing their father, parents losing a child, etc….

          Dipshxt……

          • Clinton Fussell

I see your point. The victims and families suffer, but these guys themselves aren’t victims except of their own doing.

    • JohnGrant213

Not sure he is “officially” a capo anymore although its hard to be sure many consider him as likely being shelved but no real proof of it as far as I know of but it sure seems like it. Feds may still consider him as having the rank but he isn’t in great standing these days it seems.

  3. Bigeasy91

Vinnie asaro and john gottis grandson.. how unusual is that combination lol I thought asaro would enjoy retirement after the victory against the government, he definitely is no capo but if hes still out there hustling then fair play to him.

  4. Bigeasy91

Vinnie asaro did not directly speak to gotti or his cronies, asaro was pissed off someone cut him off on a motorway/road and followed that person to their house, he then asked an associate to set the persons car on fire, the associate asked gotti and his mates to do it and they got cought. gottis and his mates robbed some place of 5k and asaro had nothing to do with that. another incident with road rage these guys have to smarten up.

    • The mafia

he is looking at ten years now all because of it he is an idiot he will now die in prison. Gotti is going to be in prison for a long arson to go with his 8 year sentence he is already serving for drugs

  5. Clinton Fussell

So Peter Lovaglio is going around playing the tough guy role yet the whole time he’s a rat lol. I don’t care how many people you blind with broken glass asshole working with the feds makes you a softie.

  6. Clinton Fussell

People who are obsessed with and talk about sports and athletes all day everyday – Acceptable!
