Making of The Mob: New York to premiere on AMC in June

 

Making of The Mob: New York is a new eight part docu-drama mini series narrated by Ray Liotta that chronicles the history of the original five families of the New York Mafia. The series will take viewers all way back to 1905 and cover a span of 50 years tracing the rise of the American Mafia and many of its legendary mobsters. According to AMC the show will feature archival footage, in depth interviews, dramatic scenes, and groundbreaking VFX.

Making of The Mob: New York is set to premiere on June 15th at 10 PM ET according to a recent AMC release. Some of those featured on the show include former mob attorney Oscar Goodman, Joe Mantegna, and Drea de Matteo along with member of law enforcement and family members of historic mobsters like Myer Lansky among others.

Perhaps one of the more interest 2015 mafia shows as AMC usually puts forth a pretty decent product. Each episode of the show will also be partnered with a lead in from the library of great mafia movies like Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, The Godfather, among others.
