Prosecutors claimed DiNunzio and a co-defendant sold a powerful form of weed known as “Skywalker” in Massachusetts. DiNunzio and a small crew conspired to import large amounts of potent weed from California to New England from July 2013 to February 2014 according to prosecutors. Among the shipments they arranged was a 23 pound load of the sought after “Skywalker” which generated an estimated profit of $20,000. This isn’t Louis’s first run-in with the law as he was previously convicted of running an illegal casino-style gambling table in a Boston social club called the Sons of Italy. He remains free on bail until his sentencing which is scheduled for Tuesday. The DiNunzio’s are definitely a part of the mafia in New England and its current attempts to rebuild its ranks.
