Reputed Detroit Mobster Zerilli Claims To Know Where Hoffa Was Buried

In another twist to the long-running search for the body of former Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa new information surfaces from a reputed former Detroit mobster.

Tony Zerilli who feds say was once the underboss of the Detroit mafia says he knows where Hoffa was buried after his murder in 1975. Hoffa said he was heading to meet two men at a restaurant in suburban Detroit one of the men was a suspected member of the Detroit mob and the other a New Jersey Teamster boss. Hoffa was then never seen again and its believed by many was killed by the Mafia. Former U.S. Attorney Keith Corbett said the interesting thing about the Hoffa murder was how it was compartmentalized to only a few people and how quiet it was kept.

“Jimmy Hoffa”

Zerilli claims that Hoffa was buried in a suburban Detroit field about 20 minutes away from the restaurant that he disappeared from. Zerilli himself was in prison at the time of the Hoffa murder and denies having any part in it. The feds believe that Anthony Zerilli is a person who because of his high ranking position in the Detroit mafia would of learned key details and information about the Hoffa murder once he was released. He was questioned by the feds upon his release years ago about Hoffa but he refused to talk and denied any knowledge of it. Even today Zerilli refuses to name names as to who was involved in the murder and says he is simply looking to end the speculation about where Hoffa’s body is located.

Zerilli said the decade long search and watching the FBI chase countless tips has frustrated him. Tips from countless publicity hounds saying they know where Hoffa is and rumors of him being everywhere from Detroit to New Jersey or even the Meadowlands. The truth Zerilli says is that his body was buried in a shallow grave in a field and there was a plan to move the body at another time but the remains were never moved from that spot. Corbett says he believes this is the most attractive and interesting lead that he or the feds have seen since Hoffa disappeared.

Zerilli says he wants closure for himself and Hoffa’s family because he feels very bad about what happened to Hoffa and he didn’t deserve it. But Zerilli is also looking for a payday for this information. Zerilli claims that his quality of life now is zero and that he is dead broke. So now as he makes this new information public he is working on a book and even has a website, hoffafound.com. He thinks that he can make money with these outlets if and when the remains of Hoffa are found at this field location and he is now waiting on the FBI to make the next move.
