In the book Junior tells stories about his dad and their family including some interesting looks into how Gotti Sr. taught him some life lessons. Here is a quote from the book from his father about a fight Junior got into at school, he writes that his father told him: “Good. Anybody bad-mouths your family, or picks his hands up to you, you leave him there. If they’re too big for you, pick up a bat or a stick and hit them in the head with it.”
He also gives a look back into the death of his then twelve year old brother Frankie. He also talks about John Favara who was the neighbor who accidentally killed Frankie and his disappearance and possibility of his fathers involvement. He also talks about former mobsters Vincent “Chin” Gigante and his former Gambino mob pal John Alite.
