This thing took what seemed like forever to play out with Persico pleading guilty and then wanting to take it back etc lol and now it ends up that he gets even more years than his plea deal called for. OUCH!

yes they do have an leadership capacity who the current acting boss is I have heard conflicting reports would not surprise me if andy russos kid is at the top these days there is a number of guys who could be running it but this family has not had a major indictment hit in a few years and a lot of big players getting out of prison in last year they are still weak but the state of that family has been exaggerated they are still a organized family with a hierarchy

thanks, i have also heard that the Bonnanos and Colombos pretty much answer to the three other families. thoughts?

Definitely, has done a whole lot more damage than good over the last few years especially. Family really needs to move into a new era with a newly established hierarchy if they hope to rebound and restabilize like some of the other families have done.

There should be laws passed preventing judges from factoring in uncharged acts. Get the fuck over what you couldn’t get him on and focus solely on what he was convicted for. Sheesh!

Agreed if you couldn’t convict him for it at trial then it should one should not be allowed to assume or use a personal opinion to adjust a sentence. Plus he had a plea deal even if he was probably guilty you couldn’t prove it!

Judges always hold final say for sentencing. Most people have character letters wrote on their behalf. Ones past and character is weighed with the guidelinnes that are determined by crime and a score with past crimes. That said, her mentioning a crime he was found innocent of gives him strong grounds for an appeal.
