John Travolta looks razor sharp as he takes on the role of larger than life former New York mafia boss John Gotti in the upcoming crime biopic.
Travolta was seen stepping into character as the new mafia movie called The Life and Death of John Gotti was shooting in Brooklyn New York and there seems to be a moderate resemblance to the legendary Dapper Don. It is being directed by Kevin Connolly and features other stars including Kelly Preston as Victoria Gotti, William DeMeo as Sammy Gravano, and Leo Rossi as mobster Bobby Boriello. The movie is set to be released sometime later this year although there is yet to be an official release date.

The new John Gotti movie had been an on again off again project since news of it broke back in 2010. Now that filming has finally begun we get some of the first inside looks at Travolta playing the role of the infamous mafia boss. This will definitely be one of the more interesting movies about the mafia this year and hopefully, it will meet or even exceed its modest expectations.
